We are looking at going to Florida next year for two weeks starting out on the beach for a few days and then on to Disney for a week. We have a free condo in Florida so looking to leave our travel trailer somewhere near Panama city we are thinking about staying St Andrews state park or St Joesph state park and then wanting to find somewhere to leave our camper for a week. Does anyone have any suggestions. When we come back from Disney we plan on staying another week on beach before we head home. We stayed this summer at Gulf state park in Alabama, Grayton, Top Sail and Henderson state park and loved all four. Any suggestions would be great we are traveling from Missouri. Thanks everyone. You all are the ones that helped us plan this summers vacation and it was great. After we returned from the beach for two weeks we headed to South Dakota and stayed in Custer State park in Stockade lake campground another great trip that you all helped plan.

Why not ask your final destination CG what their monthly rate is?

Even if you are only going to stay there a week or two the cost for the month rate AND being able to leave your RV there 'prior' to your arrival back will most likely be less than your actual week stay and the cost of a separate storage lot fee.

Even if does cost a few dollars more, you don't have to worry about packing everything a up when you leave and then put it all back up when you get back to your camper. It will be all set up and ready to have more fun in the sun.

Check with a secured mini storage place that allows RV's. We paid around $40-50 a month. If you only need a week, they may be willing to prorate it for you.

Boat and RV storage yards are fairly common on the Gulf Coast. In fact from St. Andrews back towards St. Joe I stopped at a small Rv dealer last year for some parts and noticed that they had a storage lot next door. I don't remember the name but a search should turn it or others up.

Where we winter near the villages several of the private campgrounds offer storage at good rates. BTW that area is only about an hour from Orlando.

St. Andrews in Panama City Beach is a very nice park. There several places to temporarily store a rv, just Google the area.
