We were there all of last week and I could not imagine the heat and humidity in June or July. It was around 90 each and every day last week, but it did cool off in the evenings, getting into the high 60s and low 70s. Saying all that, it was not humid until Friday and Saturday, and then it was just miserable.
On our first day there, I told DH that I could not imagine coming down there during the summer months. I just wouldn't do it.
We took our kids out of school for an entire week and went during the "down" time at the park and it was wonderful. There was very little standing in line and waiting, especially on Tues, Wed and Thursday.
