Went to Disney early last August for family celebration. It was so hot I could not participate. IMHO, if anyone in your family is significantly affected by heat and humidity, central Florida should be totally "out of bounds" during the summer months. We live on the Grand Strand in SC and it is hot and humid here but inland Florida in the summer is down right vicious when it comes to high temps and high humidity. I will NEVER go there in the summer again. BTW, crowds in Disney World when we were there were HUGE, so were the lines. Even using fast pass it was a challenge. No one deals with crowds better than Disney, but compound all those people with all that heat - no, I won't ever do it again! We did return to Disney in January, and it was GREAT!
