Four mile creek

Am planing a trip to Niigata falls . Anyone know anything about this park. The reviews on line are good just looking for personal experience.
  • It's one of our favorite.... A wide variety of camp sit type to choose from... We always opt for the 30 amp electric only right on the lake... Very handy to get to Niagra Falls..
  • Bus driver, we were there in August of last year. We found it to be a very nice, large park. Btw, I was asked at, check in for papers from our vet for our small dog. Which I always carry but are rarely asked for.
This is a great park if you're not interested in traveling into the Canadian part of Niagara Falls. That is a bit of a drive back and forth each time.
  • Just got back from there! Nice people, close to the falls (15 min drive), clean, pretty decent size sites. Cleanest restrooms I have seen yet, nice showers (all tile).

The water fill is a little odd, they have water fountains around the place and on the back is a spot you can connect your hose for gravity fill. I would stick to the spots in the "middle" of the loops, or back by the lake. Some spots off the side of the roads have a pretty severe dip. Drainage was good after a couple of healthy rains.

They have a couple of dump areas so I thought that was nice that not everyone was lined up.

Don't be weird-ed out by no one on the roads near there, the park was pretty full but everytime we left it was like we were the only ones on the highway.

The pass you get, gets you into all the state parks for free. They have a camp store, I didn't go in, but the kids bought more rv tp and wood from there so they have that at least. We were in site 215.
  • Also, we parked at I think it was the "discovery center" then walked to the american side, maid of the mist and all that, then with passports in hand walked the rainbow bridge all the way to the Canadian falls. The next day we drove in and over to the Canadian falls to do the journey under the falls.

The restaurant by the whirlpool jet boats was pretty good, I think its called water street tavern or inn, but it can get expensive in a hurry. Jet boats were fun but bring change of cloths and water shoes (or they will supply you shoes) and you get 100% head to toe soaked lol.
