  • Not to diminish the value of Harvest Hosts (I really like the program & admire what Kevin & Ruth have accomplished), but many times you will find wineries are open to having RV's stay the night just for the asking, whether or not you're part of the program. Buying something from the winery is usually expected as part of the deal.

Nothing. You simply call ahead to a prospective host to see if they have room for you. They do ask that you purchase something from the hosts (winery or farm). There are no hookups. Just a free ($40 yearly membership which is what is being given away) overnight stay. There are certain etiquette rules to adhere to ask by harvest hosts.
