- noe-placeExplorerI think there is one in that area called Red Coconut RV Resort. They have some sites on the beach but most sites are across the street and only a short walk across. The sites are tight but if you like sand, water and sun it might be worth a look.

That's where we stay when in the area. It's a easy walk over to the beach, or as you said, the shuttle bus stops right at the park entrance. I think it's $.50 - Bears_DenExplorerCheck out the Sanctuary RV Park in Bonita Springs. In fact there is a thread on it going right now. It used to be a migrant camp but from the thread, it is an up and coming RV park on Bonita Beach east of I75. From the CG to the beach is an easy drive west on Bonita Beach Rd.

- RVcrazyExplorerTo us, Woodsmoke was too tight. It was more of a traditional Rv campground.
Gulf Waters was much more upscale and closer to the beach. The lots the are privately owned and rented out. Nice landscaped sites with paved roads and pavers in the large sites. Nice pool, but not much else besides the tiki bar. It doesn't really look like a place for young families like Woodsmoke. - Dog_FolksExplorer

We stayed at Woodsmoke several years ago for 2 weeks and liked it allot. You will need to map out the back way into FM Beach to avoid the beach bridge traffic which get ridiculous! Red Coconut on the beach is also very nice. Very small spaces with a high dollar price!
The back way? From Woodsmoke that is easy. Turn south on US 41. Go to Bonita Springs and turn right (West)on Bonita Beach road. Make no other turns. After a scenic drive along the coast you will arrive in Ft. Myers Beach. - LynnandCarolExplorerWe stayed at Woodsmoke several years ago for 2 weeks and liked it allot.
