This morning I filled the FW tank(with the drain open to flush it a bit for a while) and flushed out the pink stuff from the system, switching the HWH back online via the bypass valve. Air'd the tires up a few pounds, jacked up each wheel one at a time giving them a spin and wiggle. Tuesday I washed and waxed the trailer with my credit card. So it is ready to roll. Packing continues. We moved the departure up one week already and may move it up another one. 100 degrees out right now. Chris

I'd get out of Arizona too, with Ducey about set off a bomb there.

That's what my brother all the way back in Atlanta said in an email this morning.

If you stay out of RV parks you should have no problems.

Just follow up. We left Arizona later in the day and drove to Quartzsite the first day 166 miles, Bakesfield 350 miles, Rolling Hills Casino 397 miles, Eugene, Or 367 miles, and 314 miles to summer park in Washington. There was traffic on the roads, but not bad. Fuel was not and issue. Truckers in California were rolling at at 61-62 vs the normal of 59 in past years. However we have not been on the route for a few years. The 50 degrees difference in temps are noticeable! Had a little rain in Oregon. 10 in Palm Springs area was not bad, Sacramento was fine, as was Portland and Seattle, staying up at speed all the way. Lots of bumpy areas along that route(60, 10, 210, 215, 138,14,58, 99, and 5)

We departed Arizona a few days ago heading back to WA. We stayed overnight in a Love's truck stop the 1st night. We parked way at the back out of the way of truckers. The 2nd night we stayed in a casino parking lot with about a half dozen other rv's. The casino was closed so we had the lot all to ourselves.

Yep, we can get hard freezes here in December and January! Have seen years where stand pipe freeze and break off.

Seems like it would take a long time, credit cards are small! They also don’t hold much wax.
