Glacier National Park

This is the article from the National Park Service: http://www.nationalparkstraveler.com/2014/06/wintry-conditions-returning-glacier-national-park25234

I'm betting somebody here knows how to make this into a clicky. Thanks!
  • Yes it is a nasty system. We are getting the same one across the border in the form of rain. 160mm (6 inches) of rain expected on the Canadian side from this which is a huge amount. Probably will be lots of rivers and streams flooding again from this one. May have to delay the Glacier trips for a while until things get melted out. Hiking may be a while between the winter melt plus this one.
  • We were there on Memorial Day week and all of the rivers were extremely high. We had to change campgrounds as we were afraid the one (Spruce on the River in Kapipsell) we had made reservations for was going to go under water. We did enjoy the week as it is a beautiful area.
  • Pretty much all of Idaho and Western Montana and Colorado have gotten unusually high amounts of precipitation. With the global climate change some areas get a lot more water than usual and others, like everything west of the Rockies is getting the least amount of rain in nearly a century.
