Still years away but i like to plan seek out n research nice campground resorts.

Our 1st choice for a winter accomodation would be in or near Goodyear Arizona.
We would be arriving December 1st and leave probably April or May.

My wife and I like baseball and would like to attend several Spring training games along with other attractions within 100 miles of Goodyear.
We could stay up to 50 miles outside Goodyear and drive around our base camp.
Possible to workamp some....full hook

Looking for a great resort or campground under $30 per day full hookup

Where do snowbirds go to winter where theresortis not just a pa tingly, or golf,or mobile homes???

Thanks again...

For extremely reasonable full hookup sites, check out the Escapees RV Club's own parks and co-ops. You can stay for about $300/month. Our favorite is in Benson, AZ but in Arizona there are ones in Casa Grande, Congress (near Wickenberg) and in Yuma.

Escapee Co-Op Parks

(For the Wickenberg one go to the top of the Co-Op page under 'Parking'. It's then under "Rainbow Parks".

Also, many folks volunteer in the Arizona state parks and Maricopa County (greater Phoenix) parks.

The above-mentioned White Tanks Maricopa County park (near Goodyear) is looking for volunteers. You would have a full hookup wherever you volunteer and get your site free.

Good luck!

Remember in the RV Industry, the word "Resort" is the most verbally abused word. Resort can mean almost anything. I feel good in Yuma at $320.00 plus power and the park owner advertises it as a "Resort".

Ariz.or Flordia. Most snowbirds are paying approx. $800 to $900 a month depending on the Resort amenities.

$30 a day will limit your choices considerably. You might need to look for work camping positions in exchange for your site costs. Check out White Tanks Park, north of Good Year about 30 min. No full service but they have a "honey truck" to come around and dump you out.

White Tank Park has 14 full hook up sites for volunteers/work campers.
LP and a Laundromat are provided for volunteers.
Campsites are $30./night with water and electric, 30-50 amp. There is a dump station at the campground.
Contact: Raymond Schell, park supervisor at 623-935-2505 if interested.
