I was there this past December.
It is still a pay park, complete with day use and overnight fees.
There are tables, fire rings and pit toilets. I did not see any water or other improvements.
The sites were loosely defined, more or less by the table and firepit.
The pavement, if you can call it that, is EXTREMELY rough and full of large sharp-edged rocks, not just smoothed over stones.
I was ready to spend a night there, but got creeped out by a father-daughter team selling jewelry. They had themselves setup behind the outhouse building, so you couldn't see them until you were in the parking lot, and then they came over with the high pressure sales.
