Government Shutdown
I just heard that this will affect National Parks, among a lot of other things. My brother and SIL just left yesterday for a week at the Grand Canyon.

I wonder where one goes to actually get the real news? It seems most news stations have their own agenda and will report in a way that fits that agenda.
Where do you get your news exeter_acres?
Can't beat the BBC
BBC story on the coming government shutdown
*edited to add second link, directly to the shutdown story*

I'm on my way to a COE park next week. It is operated by the COE not a concessionaire. I've been wondering if it would be effected.

Shutdown or not, I'm sure the Grand Canyon will still be here. Should be plenty of boon docking sites off various gravel roads and trails in that area, right?
