Grayson Highlands SP Virginia

I'll be traveling from Northern Virginia at the end of Feb and want to hike Mt Rogers from Grayson Highlands SP. Can anyone give a recommendation on a campground nearby that is open in February and can handle big rigs? Was thinking somewhere around Galax maybe. From what I can see the state park has no availability for the time I'll be there. looks like the campground might not be open in winter?

Laurel creek rv park in Damascus 276 492 1040 is open year round,and an easy drive up to grayson highlands,mount rodgers in a car.
