Had a great family reunion in North Georgia~!

We just got back from a week at Trackrock Campground (east of Blairsville.) All of my family is from Lower Alabama, Mississippi, western Washington, and the Outer Banks of NC, so they had a long drive. But the reasons that I chose Trackrock were simple: We've been coming up there for years and we are crazy about the place! Trackrock has everything you can think of for families & couples. Cabins for the non-campers, tent sites w/ water & electric, RV sites with FHU, a lake for fishing and swimming, 2 playgrounds, horseback riding and a hayride on Saturday night. I promise you, I do not work for this campground. We just love it so much, we will probably set up a permanent camp there at some point.

We had 19 people up there; so much fun. The only bad part was packing up this morning to go home. Waaaaaaaah!
  • Nothing like a great family reunion in a great location to raise the spirits. Glad you had such a good time.
  • Beautiful part of the country. My son lives in Hiawassee, a bit east of that campground. Just spent ten days there about a week ago - not in our RV though.

  • We have our Family reunion at Watson Mill Bridge State Park every year. It's in the next week or two, but we will miss it as we will be on vacation. Never camped there during the reunion though.
  • We camped at Trackrock on the Memorial day holiday. We thought the CG was great.
