Half way stop between Myrtle Beach and New Jersey

Hi friends,

We are looking for a clean and comfortable place to stop roughly halfway between Myrtle Beach and NJ. Taking I-95 home. Would love a decent pool so the kids could go for a swim.

I don't know if you plan on other stops heading back to NJ, but taking Rt 17 north is a great ride and less stressful than Rt95. There are many options along the way, including Virginia Beach. The Holiday Travel park is very nice, with several pools and activities for the kids. If you cross the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel and drive north thru Delmarva, there are several more stops, including Cherrystone just north of the bridge, further north is Tall Pines Harbor CG which is very nice also. I am mentioning places with pools. You may have stopped at these places in the past already, but I have always enjoyed the Rt17 ride to Rt13 north, then have the option of taking the Cape May Lewes ferry to NJ or continue on Rt13 north to the Delaware Memorial bridge and pick up the NJTP from there. Safe travels
  • There's also the KOA between Baltimore and Washington, but that's a little more than half way.
  • Try Google maps, get directions, from and to. Then look how many miles, and divide in half. There's your stopping point.
  • Exit 171 NC is what they are referring to. Great overnight.
