Has anyone stayed at the Victorian RV Park in Sparks

We have never heard of it. Have never seen one thing written about it. Is that a hint?????
We are heading to Reno/Sparks for a late anniversary and wanted a new spot. The first idea was Boomtown. Then Patti goggles Parks and saw Victorian. Review say narrow sites.
We had wanted to try Marina but with our older unit We were offended by their age requirement.
Thanks for any input...
  • We just left Sparks Marina a few weeks ago. They never asked what year our rig was. I think the " age limitation " is to keep out run down looking rigs. If your unit looks good for it's age, it shouldn't be a problem. It is a very, very nice, safe park.
  • We have stayed at GSR, Bordertown and Rivers Edge. Just looking for a new digs.
The Marina and come to find out Victorian both have an age limit. WE debated Boomtown but it just looks a bit run down and with a few issues. Gold Ranch is too far out. Not sure what We will do. More thinking.
  • We used to live in Sparks, Sparks Marina is nice & new & shiny, AND pricey. We have stayed at Grand Sierra RV Park, good access with back in & pull thru sites. We've also stayed at Shamrock, just north of the 80 on the 395, good park, some sites have views of the city. Boomtown is now affiliated with KOA, way too pricey and tight sites. Victorian is very tight. Gold Ranch is too far out of town for me but a good park.
  • About 18 months ago we stayed at Sparks Marina. Very nice. Would stay again, but the crime rate in the older part of the surrounding area appears to be high. Drove thru Victorian, which is in the older part of the town, close to where a lot of renovating was going on. It's an older park and not nearly as nice as Sparks Marina. Years ago we stayed at Boomtown & I remembered it as being awesome. Drove thru it. It was okay, but I'm not a KOA kind of guy. Then we drove thru Gold Ranch. That's where we will stay next time. Not as manicured as Sparks Marina, which is definitely close to great food & shopping options (and an absolutely cool sporting goods store that I found superior to Bass Pro Shops, which I love) but GR is much closer to what I'm in the area for. Them hills & lakes.
  • No....and won't.

We like Gold Ranch in Verdi just West of Reno off I-80. Not sure of rig age restrictions so you'll want to call the CG you are interested in.

    Safe travels.
