- Rangerman40Explorer75 through Dayton, Oh isn't bad anymore. Still doing construction downtown, but it lasts less than a mile and is mostly on the NB side. Cincinnati is still a mess, but it's 10 times better than it was 6 months ago. It's tight in a couple spots but definitely doable. Then again since I live in Dayton and have been dealing with the construction on 70/75 for the better part of a decade maybe I'm just used to it.
- TomG2ExplorerOP asked, "Anyone have any info on the construction on I-75 south.....?"
After traveling this route for over forty years, my answer would be "Yes, there is construction". Road construction kept me employed for those same forty years, so it is hard for me to complain. - almccExplorerAny work on I-75 from Detroit (south from the Ambassador bridge) to the Toledo turn off onto the 80 toll road heading towards Chicago?
- jeb5ExplorerI 75 in Lima is nearing completion. The construction area is now only about 3 miles and they are working long hours to complete prior to Nov. 1st. The area from Toledo to Findlay is the real challenge. Dayton is also not difficult driving.
- sljohnson1938ExplorerI77 goes south from Cleveland, OH to Columbia, SC where you take I26 south/east to I95 which will take you south to FL, on the east coast. if you are going to the east coast of FL you stay on I95. if you going to west FL you take I10 at Jackson, FL which will take you over to I75. we live in NC and this is the way we go. At I10 heading west, take exit 43, US301, south to Ocala, FL where you can get on I75.
Not sure where in FL you are going. - The_KrocExploreralso, North & South of Lima Ohio is under construction. Then again in Dayton & Cincinnati. It's a mess and at times you are dealing with only 9' 6" of lane width. We just got back from Detroit and it's a mess there as well.
- joebedfordNomad IIConsidering how bad I75 has been for years, I'm glad they're fixing it.
We'll be headed that way after Dec 1st. - jeb5ExplorerI 75 from Toledo to Findlay is very difficult. They are working long hours to have some of the area completed by Dec. 1st. There is a lot of work remaining.

I would advise taking 80 West to 77 South
Taking 77 is not a bad idea but, Isn't 77 east of 75? - HondavalkExplorer III would advise taking 80 East to 77 South
