If in Tucson...Real People and NO Pickleball-A Good Place

It doesn't have a Pool.

Nor a pickle ball court. (thank god)

You don't get 2 pages of rules single spaced and printed on both sides of the paper when you check in.

No one asks you with a sneer what age your RV is.

They don't fawn over the Class A owners as if they were visiting Royalty.

You can actually work on your RV if you need to (as long as you are doing so during normal hours)

People are actually friendly, not the fake kind you find so much of... you know the type..that smile that looks like it comes on with a switch and looks as if it was painted on.

It's a bit of a Miracle this place as far as the RV Park world is concerned.

Oh it's not the prettiest park but it does have nice trees and a lot of Orange trees. The spaces are good sized...but you better know how to drive your rig. They have a few pull thrus for those that are challenged.

It's also not the biggest park only about 80 spaces.

But it is friendly, quiet and has decent wifi, in fact much better than many far larger parks with much more resources.

When we first arrived we were welcomed like returning family.

We have been happy here for more than a month now but will have to sadly leave in a few days for Alaska. (Yes Alaska) And we will miss this place. Everything you need is close by and you are not on top of the Railroad or the airports/bases. And it's reasonable at $399 plus Electric per month.

I really hate to recommend this place for fear it will become something different. But to give you an idea of the kind of people who are here. One man, a permanent resident of the park, bought a huge armload of flowers on Valentines day and asked the manager if she would see that all the single women in the park got a bouquet. His only request? He insisted that his identity be kept secret.

We look forward to getting to Alaska but are also looking forward to our next stay here.
