X2 on the Wenatchee Confluence except that you might be too late to get a reservation. Wash state parks, especially those near water are VERY popular and fill up early.
As far as the eats are concerned, most of the food in the downtown area is just regular tourist food.I've been there a number of times and only had a couple of good meals. There is one that is downstairs on the main street that has a pork shank that is huge and s'posed to be good, but I was underwhelmed by the rest of their food. They have a couple of local craft beers that are good, even though one is brewed in the Seattle area. If you want some really good beers, you need to go to Several breweries in the downtown Seattle area or better yet, take a ferry over to the Kitsap Peninsula for some outstanding beers.
