Letchworth State Park (New York State)

I am looking for some information about Letchworth State Park
We do most of our camping in Ontario Provincial Parks, but have done a bit in Holly State Recreation Area in Michigan, and are considering a week in Letchworth.
We like camping in more rustic campgrounds with trees and undergrowth and some level of privacy between campsites.
I have looked online for pictures of Letchworth, and it seems like it might fit our preferences, but I thought I'd ask on here for more personal reviews. The scenery sure looks great!
Has anyone camped there, and if so, what is it like? Pics too please.:)

Thanks.

EDIT. I have since found a site that actually has pictures of each campsite!
Looks like a go, but I'd still appreciate any feedback.

If you can't get into Letchworth, there is another campsite called Woodstream. very nice, 5 min from the park and larger more private sites. We just were there on Memorial weekend and were very pleased with site. One negative was the showers were pay to use (.25) but since we had water hookup we used our camper shower. They have a pretty good stocked store onsite and plenty of playgrounds and activities for kids. You can call them at 585-493-5643

An Ontarian is unlikely to refer to most of the campsites in Letchworth as "spacious", certainly not when compared to many in the Ontario provincial park system. No question, it's a scenic park offering a variety of activities, including a pool and restaurant, but by our standards the sites are tight, in many cases don't offer much in the way of privacy, and if you happen to be there during a wet period quite a few can be quite mucky. We spent a few days there last summer on our way to the Adirondacks and would return again but IMO anyone looking for isolation between camping neighbours would be disappointed.

Fall weekends book early, and there is a craft show in October that books months in advance. There is a full grocery store in Perry, which out the back entrance by the campground is no more than 10 miles. Probably less. Mt. Morris is at the east side of the park but is further from the campground. September should be a good time to go as the kiddies will be back in school and it's before the leaf season. Make reservations now though, so you're all set for your arrival.

Letchworth is OK but its 30 miles to a grocery store except for the little icecream place in town. It's usually full and we had to wait 6 mo for a reservation last time. Beautiful, 3 waterfalls, my SIL photographed them for college and we have the pics hanging on our hall wall. Lots of deer and squirrels. Kid freindly and good walking trails and roads. GO!!

BossCamper, We live in Western NY and go camping at Letchworth State park once a year. Usually over Mother's Day Weekend. It's absolutely beautiful there and the camp sites are spacious. If you go to campadk.com and choose the "New York State/DEC Campsite Photo Database" and then Letchworth, you can view actual photos of most of the sites. There are 8 camping loops at Letchworth and some are pet friendly while others are not. To book sites, go to reserveamerica.com You have to sign up (free) but the process is easy.

Thanks.
I found that site with the campsite pictures, and I think we'll be camping there in September.
Thanks for all the advice/opinions, folks

Very nice park, I go at least once a year. Electric at sites but only 15 amp, I think. There is a newer loop that may have higher amps. Only a few loops are dog friendly. Sites are spaced well, some more private with shrubbery between. Park is beautiful and takes some time to see the whole thing. I think you'll be pleased.
