Lincoln Rock State Park, Wenatchee WA

First time staying at this nice medium sized park right on the banks of the Columbia River just above the Rocky Reach Dam. We love it so far. Nice big sites with full hookups. Lots of green grass and plenty of shade trees while not being closed in at all. Popular place though and we got extremely lucky to find a site for three nights this weekend when making reservations several months ago.

Here was our view from 20 feet away from our site this morning!

  • Drove through Lincoln Rock last year while staying at Wenatchee Confluence...looked like a nice place, but having stayed at Wenatchee Confluence SP 2x in the last 2 years it (along with Ft. Ebey SP on Whidbey Island) have become our favorite Washington SP's. Last week at Wenatchee C.SP when the weekend crowd arrived Friday night and all the spots were full, it still "felt" like it did during the middle of the week when only half the sites were taken because the campsites are so spacious. Being bike riders we love having instant to the bike trail.
  • Good tip ScottG
We were at Wenatachee Confluence State Park all last week, site 47. Huge, well spaced sites, tons of grass and shade.

What a great park. Very well maintained. Every time someone vacated their site, someone came around with a pressure washer and washed down the entire site, including the picnic tables and dump hook up port.

We took the 10 mile paved bike loop every morning right out of our site.
  • It is a gorgeous park. The desert landscape that surrounds the green oasis is incredible. If your going to be there for awhile then you may want to check out Ohme Gardens ($7ea).
Have you tried Wenatchee Confluence State CG? It's about 8 mile down the road and is very similar. The nice thing about WC is that it's on a well paved walking and biking trail. There's a 10 mile loop that goes along the water and over a couple of bridges. It also has a super nice beach and the sites are huge. While your staying at LR you should check it out!
Have a great time and enjoy the weather.
