Looking for spot in MA or RI

This might be along shot, but it doesnt hurt to ask.

We are looking for a campground state or private with beach access (walking distance )..the dream site is short distance to a pet friendly beach, from which we can also fish.

Somewhere in the northeast prob MA , RI or CT

    Salisbury Beach State Reservation in MA, access to 2 beaches, pets allowed, fishing. Fisherman's Memorial State park & Campground, in RI. Both are going to be tough to find a site in the summer months but you do stand a better chance on finding a site after labor day.

    Also in RI is a new resort campground that has just opened, might want to check this out too. http://www.ashawayrvresort.com/index.html

    X2 for Salisbury. Mike is right about chances of getting a reservation being pretty remote until September.
    One note, dogs are only allowed on the river beach, and are not permitted at the ocean side. (Late season, I have seen dogs on both - not much staff around after Labor Day).

    Scusset Beach State Park on Cape Cod. Both ocean and canal accessible.
