Nashville CG suggestions

We stay at the KOA so we can get a wide open space since we do not like trees hanging over our 5th wheel. You can take the downtown shuttle from any of the campgrounds located near Music Valley Drive. The Opry is close by but the Ryman is downtown.

There are three campgrounds side by side on Music Row. Two Rivers is where we stay if we go there. A little tight but nice people and clean. Depending on the time it can be crowded but hey most places can be depending on the time. We are twenty miles from Bonaroo and 50 miles from Nashville. If you can't find a place give us a holler. Larry

Last July we stayed at the KOA and will never do that again. The management really did not care about anything. It is very highly priced for nothing. The power on the three rows around us were having brown outs. Our lot had huge holes in it and the grass was not cut. The grass was a foot high around our hook ups. The newer sites were not laid out correctly for the hook ups. They were back in sites and had the utilities out by the road. We were promised a free pancake breakfast but declined to give it to us upon check in. When we brought our problems to the management they did not see the need to address anything. In fact you could tell that they really did't care. It was an all around bad experience. We checked out Yogies which is behind Bankston Motor homes and will definitely stay there next time.

we stayed at 2 rivers...likes the campground...no pull thrus but easy backins....Chuck

We found the KOA to be good...about 15 min from downtown

In case you are not aware...unless you are coming for the CMA Music Fest, avoid early June. The fest this year is June 5-8, and the city is a zoo. Bonnaroo is the next week, June 12-15, but unless you try coming in from the southeast along I24 that shouldn't impact you too much.

I stayed at one on a lake a little SE of the grand ole opry area. large one with a massive halloween event. sorry can't remember the name. maybe Nashville shores?

KOA and Two Rivers are the most commonly recommended RV parks in Nashville.
