need a last minute campground.

So, we just got back from our summer trip a week ago but with the kids starting school the wife and I decided this weekend to try to get one more mini-trip in before we are handcuffed by school schedules. So here is the dilemma. We are in Columbus, Ohio. We need a campground that is super kid friendly because we have a 5 year old and 2 year old. All the local KOAs and Jellystones are pretty much booked(at least full hookups are gone). We plan on thurs-sun(17th-20th, 3 nights). I'd be willing to drive up to 100 miles give or take. Really want the full hook ups if possible because we will have my mom as well and it makes showering the kids so easy in our TT. Any suggestions are appreciated.

ended up choosing Mohican adventures due to repeated recommendations ont the Ohio RV FB page. It was $160 for 3 nights/full hookups. I'm excited. Pictures look great.

Have fun and safe travels.

I suspect you are bumping up into the solar eclipse. Try a little further north and you might have better luck. Lots of folks coming into the total eclipse path area for the 21st.

We stayed at Buck Creek State Park. very nice campground. Sites with electric that are spread out. They have a nice store and a separate beach for campers. $26 a night.

With this I suggest the OP make some phone calls to his choice of a cg.

Safe travels.

"at least full hookups are gone"

Oh my goodness! All the full hookups are gone! At all the KOAs and Jellystones! (Not my idea of camping)
