Why is it that any time someone expresses a desire to hang out without kids or dogs, 80% of the responding posts are people telling them that they're wrong for daring to have that opinion? I just don't understand. Personally, I agree with the OP. When I'm on vacation, I don't want to have to modify my behavior to set a good example for other peoples' children. I'd like to hang out with other adults and act like an adult without worrying that I'm corrupting the next generation. There are plenty of "Family-Oriented" CGs around, and plenty of "55 & Up", but I would love to see a few that are in between.
Oh, and if Disney World / Fort Wilderness ever has a "No Kids Week", I'll be the first in line.
Those responding simply disagree. Does not mean you are not entitled to you own opinion, just shows not everyone feels the same way you do.
I would imagine if there was a bigger demand for adult only parks you would see more of them, however this thread reflects that the demand may not be as great as you may have anticipated.

Some people would want dog/no kids/fire, someone else no dog/no kid/no. Fire. There are 8 combinations off of those three choices. Impossible to please everyone.
You know how some parks have a "no dog" area, how about a no kids area....or the inverse, how about an "old farts only area."
Everyone has their own idea of fun travel, personally I like meeting new people of all ages. I find restrictions to be just...restricting.
Happy trails

Thank you well said, X2.
And as a side note:
If EVERYONE followed camp ground rules? Guess what? There would be NO problems or complaints.
Following a couple of rules seems pretty simple enough doesn't it? Follow the rules and EVERYONE is a happy camper.
So fact be it, it is the RV'ers who choose not to follow a few simple CG rules that ruin it for everyone.:(

I don't want to hang out with a bunch of old grouchy, busybody gizzers talking about their ills, medications and politics. I'd rather have some young'ns around. They are entertaining and keep you young. They just have bad taste in music ๐
There a bunches of adult parks. I honestly try to avoid them.
I thought you were talking about a chicken(excuse the pun):R
