- John_S_Explorer IIJust left Grizzly. Ate at 3 bears, at least I think that was the name. It has a nice restaurant with a hotel. It was the best meal I had in W Yellowstone. The best meal was at the dining room in Mammoth.
- 4x4BobExplorerThanks to members who provided information. I printed out the menus for the two restaurants.
Ref: West Yellowstone being a Tourist Trap. Are you folks indicating that when I pick up a genuine Yellowstone NP item it will be marked "Made In China" on the bottom? :B
Bob - MTHomeExplorerIt's a tourist trap. If you don't mind driving up towards Bozeman there is an restaurant called Stacy's. It's an old style saloon and steakhouse. It's small and gets pretty crowed, but had the best prime rib I've ever eaten. It's about an hour and 15 min. drive. The 'town' is Gallatin Gateway before you get to Four Corners.
- bobsallyhExplorer IIWest is a tourist trap town, you take your chances. The bigger the billboard, the "better" the food.
