Beautiful area. We were there in Sept of 17 and were impressed.
Morganton Point Recreation Area on Blue Ridge Lake (COE Park). WOW! what a blue lake. Looks like we were on the Florida Coast.
If I recall wifi with our ATT hot spot was iffy at best. Sites were great and pretty level. Electric only, but did have a dump station handy. Simply beautiful and convenient the town of Blue Ridge. Which is a, what we call a yuppie town with lots of shops, restaurants, etc, but pleasant.
Blairsville offers Vogel SP near by. The town it also nice and the park is super nice. From there we trekked thru Helen, GA and made a point to stop at Fred's Famous Peanuts road side stand just outside in Robertsville. Best fried peanuts ever!
