Hi tom, I live here in north port near the venice line and there are only a few choices as stated in prior posts. It would help if i knew when you were going to come stay as the parks fill up during the winter months. Ramblers rest is an encore park and they just finished doing an upgrade to it and we stayed there last year for two weeks and didnt care for it but now it looks better and they have a lot of sites so i think it might be your best bet. Its two miles south of 75 and 3 miles north of 41 (tamiani trail) paul...........

This has an Arcadia address, but is only 4 mile from I 75 and about a 15 minute drive to "Downtown" North Port

Check out "Ramblers Rest".We try to stay there everytime we get up that way. Only a couple miles from 41, really nice wooded sites. Nice BIG pool, sites available with river view.

We stayed here it was really nice, you should call ahead in Jan and Feb.
