We just got back from 2 weeks at OL on 7/9. Our family loves it there. Are kids are 10 and 14 and know to be careful. Our son rides his bike(with a helmet) and knows to watch out for others as they may not be watching out for him. We see some activity that is not great but 99% of the time everyone is in check and after 11 it is quiet.
We are looking forward to 7/26 when we return for another 2 weeks. Golf cart in the bed of the truck ready to ride around with the wife and kids. It's all a preference. We walk the beach and walk to Lakewood. My daughter says "glad we never started coming here over OL or we may have missed out on the fun OL offers". Everyone has an opinion and choice. That is what is great about this country.
