Oklahoma City

We want to travel to Oklahoma City. Because of the tornados and recent rain, are most campgrounds still open. Any advise to choosing one. We're in a 30' motorhome. Thanks
  • Twin Fountains RV Park is open. They are usually busy. I would get there mid week early in the day or make reservations.
  • Roadrunner is also fine. Not quite as fancy as Twin Fountains, but clean ,friendly and in a good location to Oklahoma City attractions.
  • We have stayed at the KOA just east of OKC on I-40. Would stay there again.
  • In June we stayed a night at the city owned park in El Reno, just west of OKC. Park is abuot a mile north off I-40. Lots of room, nice lake, full hookup space $20 a night. City police patrol the place. It wasn't crowded when we were there.
