We have been summering on the Olympic peninsula for years. There is so much to see and do in the park you won't even come close to seeing and/or experiencing it all in one visit. I would suggest you visit the ranger stations at Kalaloch AND Port Angeles. Drive 101 around the peninsula. We love the ocean but the Hood Canal is also a wonder. See the town of Forks where the Twilight series is based. Ruby beach at sunset and La Push. Remember we summer there because it is the land of natural air conditioning. I like to tell people don't come to the lower '48's' on natural rain forest and complain if it is raining.
