If you have reservations for Ouabache State Park for the 4th you may want to keep close contact with the Indiana DNR. All reservations through Wednesday have been canceled and refunded due to flooding of the Wabash.
Anything beyond Wednesday is on a day to day basis and rain is predicted everyday. Even if it is open it will be very soggy. I walked the park 10 days ago when the flooding was just starting to be an issue and many sites had standing water although the roads at that time were clear. Water has been on & off the drive for several days now.
