- All_I_could_affExplorerI can't swear to it but something tells me I have seen some hourly parking limit at rest areas on New Jersey Turnpike. I can say that many of my long-haul truck driving friends spend the night regularly and no one bothers them. Keep in mind many of the rest areas are absolutely full of tractor-trailers at night. Many of them are idling continuously, and many are parked along the entrances and exits of the rest area due to overcrowding.
- mgirardoExplorerLived in NJ for 20+ years, never saw a "No Overnight Parking" sign at any NJ Turnpike or Garden State Parkway rest stop. I haven't been to every one, but I have been to most.
-Michael - rhagfoExplorer IIIWell usually there are posted time limits that you are allowed to stay likely around 8 hours.
- jerseyjimExplorer2 RETIRED.....the 18 wheelers park all nite in the Molly Pitcher rest stop as they do in most other turnpike places. I've never parked all nite in one of these, But I have for, say a 2-3 hour nap......never a problem.
