- DeanRIowaExplorerWe stayed at Eagle RV park in Thermopolis, the restrooms were super clean, the spots a little tight for us, but fine for a 1 or 2 nights. If you plan to soak in the pools, see the buffalo, burros, and visit the dinosaur museum then 1/2 day would be filled. We enjoyed going to a rock shop as well.
We had a soak in the hot springs, when we arrived and then we had a soak just before we left the next day, as their is a 20 minute soak limit per visit.
Dean - coolmom42Explorer IIThermopolis is well worth a day, at least. Aside from the above recommendations, there is a very neat little Hot Springs County museum.

Is the parking lot at the bathhouse large enough for us to park a 33 foot TT (over all length 65 feet) to take a quick soak before we drive on our way? . . . :h . . . Sounds like a nice place for "lunch brake" - coolmom42Explorer II

Yes. There is a large parking lot adjacent. - DeanRIowaExplorer

Yeap, plenty of parking, we had a soak on the way out of town and parked on the street probably 100' from the door.
The free public bathhouse if the small one in the middle right of the picture, right above the road curve. In the middle are the Teepee Pools, which are a commercial pool with slides and like, the free one was good enough for us.
Dean - IDmanExplorerAs I recall, there is a fairly low trestle or bridge you have to go under to get into the park. You should check on the height clearance before you plan to take the RV into the park.

Good point, I had forgot, I just checked the bridge appears to be a 12' bridge, my camper is just under 11' so I just cleared it, but a 5th wheeler probably wouldn't.
