Overnight In Needles, CA

Going to want an overnight in Needles in early Oct - coming down some 300 miles from Lone Pine. Want easy in and out.

Looking at either Desert View or KOA.

Suggestions / comments?

Thanks.
  • Very true - save $1 / gallon by buying on the interstate north of Havasu. Even the Dairy Queen in Needles was way out of line on pricing ....... we walked out.
  • Don't buy gas in Needles. Buy in Arizona in Bullhead or Havasu areas.

  • We always stop at the KOA when passing through. Even in the summer it has never been packed when we were there. Some shade and always had a pull through site. Friendly and helpful staff in the store. Downside of Needles is that it is hot! A short side trip from Needles is to Oatman AZ. JMO

  • I always go to the KOA. Can usually get some shade there and is also easy in and out. Very dog friendly and all pull-thrus, too.
  • I'd recommend Desert View. Easy in and out, reasonable cost, nice people.
