Palo Duro Canyon

We are all the way in the back of the canyon (Mesquite campground), beautiful as always. They are constructing two new low water crossings, park staff cautioned us that it would be difficult to get back here, no problem. Take your time, is narrow, made it fine with a 39' 5ver. KB

We are leaving on Sunday coming to Palo Duro Canyon. We will be staying at the Palo Duro RV Park in Canyon, TX. Our traveling companions require FHU sites and that is not available in the canyon I have been told. Looking forward to this trip. According to the internet the weather is supposed to be very good. We will be there for a week. Safe travels......

The campgrounds in the canyon have electric water and awesome scenery but no sewer

Does this place get gobbled up in a hurry by reservations? We are considering going here.

  • We are not far from you...working in Hereford, Tx on a wind farm construction site. The Canyon is one of the first places we visited after arriving here in June.
