If you are a fan of hot springs (as I am) there is a nice bath/hot springs at Summer Lake, worthy of a stop. No parking issues at all there.
So I can pull on in and through with Toad? Good to know, we like hot springs and the info is helpful as we are new to this size RV and towing; Thanks much! - Oregon_MsExplorerTaken that route too many times to count, have stayed at all of those mentioned paces and never made a reservation.

- TANDDANDBIGEExplorerThanks, Folks! 31 it is, we have been to Crater Lake already, no need to go that way. And Likely will be a good stop point between Bend and Carson. Do you think I need a reservation on a Sunday or Monday early June? Would like to keep it flexible. THX TB
- dicknellenExplorer IIwhat donn0128 said and our club members with 36 - 40' DPs have stayed at Likely and are going back again this August. Sullys RV Park in is good for a night also, have stayed there in a 30' MH with toad not sure about 40' DP. There is another good overnight park at Standish on 395 think it is Days end RV park. Dick
- J_herbExplorer25 miles south of Alturas Ca. on 395 is Likely RV park, never been their but my BIL & SIL liked it. http://likelyplace.com/rv-park/facilities.html
- donn0128Explorer II31 out of LaPine is a beautiful drive through a very deversified environment. Just south of Lakeview is a nice state park, Goose Lake, that is worth a visit. IMHO this is a better drive.
