- her_IExplorerPepe's was a great place to visit till Mother Nature decided to step in. Rancho El Charco is another one that has been opened and closed a couple times. Have had some good times there in the past.

As you guys mention, there's no end to things to see and do in the Valley. I'm sure that a bunch more will come to mind! - TomG2ExplorerDoesn't look like they have done anything at Pepe's for two months.
Two "must sees" in the Valley are the Iwo Jima Memorial and the Palo Alto Battlefield which really defines the relationship between the United States and Mexico. - pawattExplorerHave them go to Riverside near Pepe's. Not as much fun but great Patio.
Also The hand pulled Ferry at Los Ebanos.
Flea Markets at Conway & 4 Mile, Don Wes, Produce market across from Don Wes.
Bentsen Rio Grande State Park & World Birding Center. Butterfly Park. Hidalgo Pump house. Usta Ropas, Nuevo Progreso, South Padre, Boca Chica Beach, Port Isabel Light House, Pirates Landing, More Flea markets, Mission Historical Museum, Convention Center grounds on Ware Road & so much more. - aauummmExplorer

That would be great! Thanks! We haven't left home yet but I have friends from Alaska who are newbies to the Valley on my recommendation and are there now. I'm making up a list of must-do things for them. - pawattExplorerMaybe I will take a ride and check it out this afternoon. It's only a few miles down the road. Park rumor says no.
