OMHO, this park is "not" remote. It sits right on I-10; on a slope; you can see the freeway but the scenic view is spectacular.

Agree that little amenities are available however the location of the sites are spaced enough as to not be on top of one another similar to the parking lot effect of the resorts in Casa Grande.

There a tons of parks around the area that would serve ones interest.

Casa Grande has good shopping.

I have been by there to look at it but not stayed. It is a decent looking park but My impression, it is the area is remote from anything and you will have to travel for any recreation other than hiking ( Picacho Peak good for that) and scenery. Park looked pretty nice . It is primarily a 55 and older park
You are midway between Casa Grande and Tucson (about 30 miles either way) for shopping, restaurants etc.
The activities at the park seem to be a little below the others in Casa Grande or Tucson . Rates are competitive. I chose elsewhere because of remoteness in case of health problems and amenities outside the park (shopping, entertainment etc).
Traveling with my best friend my wife!
