We like River Plantation in Sevierville. Easy drive to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg.
x2 When we were there was a trolley that came through the RV Park that took us to Dollywood. Picked us up right in front of our rig.
http://www.rvcoutdoors.com/river-plantation/ - RoyBExplorer IIWe always stay at RIVEREDGE RESORT... Just as you come into Pigeon Forge from the Gatlinburg side on the right. Nice shade-good wifi-friendly staff-pool-trolly stop at the camp ground - Easy in and out...
Probably one of the best bath rooms we have ever been too...
Great location being in the middle of the two towns...

It's an older campground but we fell in love with the setting. Many of the sites had decks over a creek with your picnic tables on. Almost every site was well shaded, which was important to us with a July vacation. Was very quiet during the week and still reasonable during the weekends. FHU's. A nice pool. A concrete water slide you use a mat to slide down. Daughter had a ball.
Nice little store down the street to buy firewood cheap and a grocery store within about 5 miles also. One of our best vacations, we will be going back. - jaycocamprsExplorerPosted from Camping in the Smokies

- love2rvcampExplorerPine Mountain RV Park. In Pigeon Forge at light #6. Full hookups, paved roads and sites, cable and wifi, fire pit. The park has a pool and the owners of the RV park own the hotel across the street and you have access to the hotel pool, lazy river and hot tub.
The park is on the shuttle run, there is a shuttle stop right at the park. It is not too far from the activities but you can not hear the traffic noise.
The park has a store onsite, laundry and the bath houses onsite are very nice with individual showers.
Can you tell I love this park....oh yes we do. - campinginthewooExplorerhttp://www.creeksidervpark.com was a mile of the main drag and it has full hookups and pool and ac bath house and laundry room. Trolly stopped in the campground and you can take it all over PF and transfer over to gaitlinburg too. Also the newest rv park is pine mountain rv park in PF haven't stayed there but the guests there are able to use the pool acrossed the street. Have a good time We went several years ago and stayed at creekside and found the trollies a good way to get around and yes on the weekends the traffic is bumper to bumper but not as bad during the week we went over the july 4th week.
- LindaAnnExplorerWe liked Twin Creeks RV Park just outside Gatlinburg. It has full hookups, a pool, and is a stop for the Gatlinburg shuttle. For a couple of dollars, you can use it to downtown Gatlinburg, Dollywood, the Arts & Crafts Community, and several other places--I believe into the Natl Park.
