Question

Been staying in central Fl. for last couple years now I want to go further south, maybe below Tampa -St. Pete need suggestions so I can start checking now. Would like nicer place not full blown resort. Not on the water but within driving distance and usual stuff old birders need.   Waiting suggestions.

We like the Florida State Parks. We already made our reservations for next winter and a lot of the Parks in warmer weather were already full. We lucked out with 10 days at PenneKamp in Key Largo. Nothing in the State Parks was available further south at that time. Don't delay!
