Portland ME. Parking a dually

Hey all

Planning a trip to Maine after Labor Day. We want to visit Portland and heard that parking can be quite bothersome with a dually. Anybody have experience with this? Apparently the train isnt running due to track work. We’re planning to go during the week.

If you go to the north end of the main waterfront street (Commercial?) there are several large,unpaved lots. Close to everything.

Some of the on-street metered parking is big enough but I would stick to the parking lots mentioned above.

Stick to the paid lots and you'll be okay. Streets are definitely too narrow for parking, some are even difficult just to get through!
