Lately there has been a lot of interest in viewing photos of the sites that different campgrounds have to offer. Let's start posting them to this thread and if there seems to be enough interest, perhaps we can make the thread a permanent sticky.

If you have recently posted photos of this sort, please re-post them here. If you have new ones to share, please do!

Don't forget to label the photos: Campground name, site #'s if you know them, area of campground, etc.

**A photo width of 500 works really well.

I am taking the liberty of copying here some recent photos submitted by member 'marites62'.

Fishing Bridge - This is site 60 in the B loop - back-in, full hookups (It can be tough for long trailers and 5th wheels):

More of the same site:

Colter Bay Village - This is site 40, Pull through, full hookups. It is at the end of the loop which was nice.

SHEPHERD -- Can I ask what site this was?? Looks very nice! Did this S.P. have a playground? Swimming? I assume the lake for swimming? Trails? We'll be headed that way in 2 years and I'd like to have some options to look into. Thanks!!
SAFE & HAPPY TRAVELS! :B

We just got back from 5 days at the Del Mar Campground on Camp Pendleton . We had site #1, right on the sand.

This is the view from my rear window at sunset.

If you're military/retired military, you can use this campground. Sites right on the beach or two other rows that aren't.

These pictures are of Milleson's Walnut Grove Campground in Springfield, WV. The 2007 season will be our 4th season camping there. We started out in tents and now have a travel trailer. We absolutely love it there.

This is an aerial view of the campground.

This is our seasonal campsite.

This is the rock formation that we sit by the fire and watch, we have seen several eagles flying above it. The South Branch of the Potomac is right below. Beautiful!
