It was beautiful up there on the Columbus day weekend,like you, we got there without reservations on a friday afternoon, & took what we got, although ours wasn't that bad, the location however was not the best, as the walkway to the bathrooms was litterally at the end of my awning. But as they say, any day camping is better than sitting at home. ;)
