Some pics from our trip thru Washington and Oregon.
Maryhill State Park Washington. Right on the Columbia. Very interesting sprinkler set up....they are on a timer and come on when they are programmed to. Everywhere you see except for the trailer itself was watered...lol. They did give us a 'schedule' when we checked in, but who pays any attention to that :W Was pretty funny when it happened.
Our pooch when she heard the sprinklers starting to come on...."Please let me in???" She loves water but is a bit of a scaredy-pooch with noises.... "a delicate flower" is how I often refer to her.
LaPine State Park. Very nice park. Was a bit surprised that the Ranger Station was un-manned....never had that happen in Oregon. Great walking/biking trails.
Manama Village at Crater Lake. Boy, when we turned onto the road up to the campground we were beginning to wonder if there was anybody else on the planet....not a single vehicle for the 24 mile twisty climb up. Much relief when we arrived...."Ahhh, this is where everybody is."
Not sure what the involuntary arm spazm was all about....:@
From here we headed out to the Coast to Florence and Manzanita. Too many of the campground pics my DW took have me in them, so I'll spare you that....
Had a great trip, and was able to fend off most questions about 2 people in a 38 foot bunkhouse...."It's my brother-in-law's.....want a beer?"
BIL has asked us if we'd like to store his behemoth at our place this winter, so we already have some plans for Fall and Winter camping in the works :B
