Lately there has been a lot of interest in viewing photos of the sites that different campgrounds have to offer. Let's start posting them to this thread and if there seems to be enough interest, perhaps we can make the thread a permanent sticky.

If you have recently posted photos of this sort, please re-post them here. If you have new ones to share, please do!

Don't forget to label the photos: Campground name, site #'s if you know them, area of campground, etc.

I am taking the liberty of copying here some recent photos submitted by member 'marites62'.

Fishing Bridge - This is site 60 in the B loop - back-in, full hookups (It can be tough for long trailers and 5th wheels):

More of the same site:

Colter Bay Village - This is site 40, Pull through, full hookups. It is at the end of the loop which was nice.

Bogue Chitto State Park in Franklinton, LA

This site is in Bottomland RV camp and is site # 108. If going here, I highly recommend this site because it's right next to the lake and has the most space of any campsite at the park.

Rosiclare, IL, city park at the edge of the Shawnee National Forest along the banks of the Ohio River. $20/night (although they never came to collect this winter weekend)

The city park contains about a dozen sites with gravel pads, electric and water, two public restroom buildings, boat ramps, shelters, playground. Quaint little town.

Last site near one of the shelters and bathroom.

Restroom on the other side of the shelter.

Good morniing afob3, I would have loved to been able to get away for the weekend. Just something about being out there. Don't get me wrong we had a great Thanksgiving family gathering here yesterday,Sunday, but being out there would have been the icing on the cake.
Hope you had a good Thanksgiving.

I'm quite a distance away...southern IL. I was there for a Sisters on the Fly event "Christmas in the Mountains". We had about 40 trailers, most of which were vintage, and a tent or two. Most decorated for Christmas. We had a great time! We had a couple of hayrides, and some when horse back riding.

I fell in love with the Ocoee River and thoroughly enjoyed the drive. Here are some pics:

Hi there bakerkids, we live in Woodstock,Ga. south of Trackrock. We have been camping there oth tent and TT for over 3 years. We absolutely love it. Being in the south we camp year round. I can't say enough about this place. All Good! Great lots all over. Both open like # 70 and wooded. Easy to access also. The staff is some of the most helpful and friendly we have ever come accross. Rates are very reasonable too. There are hiking trails, hay rides, kids playground and even stables if your are inclined to ride the trails. This place is nestled in the north Ga. hills near Blairsville. Glad you found it and hope you had a great time.

Trackrock Campground, Blairsville, GA, site 70. FHU, level gravel pad. Not shown in the pic is a cute little bridge over the creek, and a bridge to drive over. This is a corner site and had a split rail fence and large "yard".
This site is located is a open area as opposed to the wooded, but faces the lake and has a beautiful view. This was taken 11/9/12

Our trip to Daingerfield State Park, northeast Texas this October was pretty fun.

We got here just as the leaves on the trees began turning color. The weather was perfect.

This park was well maintained, with the cleanest bathrooms and shower rooms I'd ever seen in a state park.

There were nice hike and bike trails around the park and the lake.
