Lately there has been a lot of interest in viewing photos of the sites that different campgrounds have to offer. Let's start posting them to this thread and if there seems to be enough interest, perhaps we can make the thread a permanent sticky.

If you have recently posted photos of this sort, please re-post them here. If you have new ones to share, please do!

Don't forget to label the photos: Campground name, site #'s if you know them, area of campground, etc.

**A photo width of 500 works really well.

I am taking the liberty of copying here some recent photos submitted by member 'marites62'.

Fishing Bridge - This is site 60 in the B loop - back-in, full hookups (It can be tough for long trailers and 5th wheels):

More of the same site:

Colter Bay Village - This is site 40, Pull through, full hookups. It is at the end of the loop which was nice.

Yep Townsend tn... One of our favorite local spots. I met the hosts late in April. Not sure if they were the same people hosting now.

Here's our boondocking camp site with the first snow at Mammoth Lakes in the Eastern Sierra. We just made it over the Tioga Pass before it was closed the night before. Big surprise when we opened the door that morning.

We woke up to snow at Gros Ventre in The Grand Tetons in October of 2009. Surprise is right.

Also looks like you had very few neighbors, if any. For this reason, we like late fall camping.

Although it wasn't my site, this is a view from one of the sites in the A Loop of Loft Mountain. Totally awesome and I would love to see it when the fall colors are peaking.

It was beautiful up there on the Columbus day weekend, like you, we got there without reservations on a friday afternoon, & took what we got, although ours wasn't that bad, the location however was not the best, as the walkway to the bathrooms was litterally at the end of my awning. But as they say, any day camping is better than sitting at home. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Site E118 at Loft Mountain CG, Shanandoah National Park. I discoverd why it was available on relatively short notice. It ain't EXACTLY level. I used all of my boards and was still low in the front.
