Prairiedog Blues Festival

Here is a nice weekend getaway at the end of July. We have attended for most of the last 15 years. This is the second longest running blues festival in Wisconsin. Event is July 31-August 1. Camping is open and water is available. Just find a site and set up. The venue is family friendly and in a park like setting. Here is a link: http://www.prairiedogblues.com/. I volunteered to get the word out this year. I have no business or personal relationship the the owners or promoters. Just sharing.

Prairiedog Blues Festival this weekend. A great time is waiting.
  • Any where in the camping block is available, no size limitations. There is no shortage of spots and when you arrive, just set up and then register at the front gate or office located on Blackhawk Ave. at the gate to Feriole Island. Also check out the historical sites on the island and area. We camp among coaches, tents, and all other units. Camp size does not exist. You can expand to fit your needs and we will all be friends. All is in short walking distance and the mood is totally laid back. There are no generator restrictions aside from respect for your neighbors. Best of all, the stage is visible from the camping area so you can sit at the campfire and be entertained or set up the lawn chairs and enjoy in a park setting.

Dooen'st look like room for our 40 foot rig.

From the website: "There is no limitation on camper or RV size and pricing is the same for all. If you have a generator that you are planning on running, please locate on the same block as other RV’s."
