Quartzsite or bust

Since getting the boot from a very secluded and virus-free campground in California where I was planning to stay for a while, I'm headed to Quartzsite BLM. I have scoured the internet and found nothing to indicate anything BLM related is closed or going to be.

Anyone there now? Everything ok?

I love that area.

The Q is looking real pretty what with all the rain. Healthy bushes, trees, and some nice green grass all around.

I came in on the 78 road from Palo Verde. With all the rain yesterday many parts of the road nearer to Blythe had one lane flooded.

Spent 2 months in Bouse, in a private camp. left 3/4 for home Spent many days trail riding the area around Plomosa rd, sw of Bouse. up to Quinn Pass where we have boondocked in years past. 14 day stay limit! bullcookies! There were rigs out there for the whole time, not moving at all.

I left that area last Sunday, after spending 5 nights in BLM areas (Plomoso, near KOFA and Road Runner). No indication of any "no camping" policies. However, no telling what will happen later. Plenty of room at all places I stayed. Hi Jolly is smaller and had campers closer together. Plenty of people still in LTVAs. Great weather.

We left Plamosa Road BLM a week ago and everything was normal. Hated to leave.

Great idea! Close a campground and send everyone traveling every which way...exactly what we are asked not to do.

Are you willing to tell us the name of the campground? State? Federal? Local government? Private?

Quartzite is a conglomeration of boondocking RVs all over the place. It is a large congregation of people. Most of the rock hounds and gem and mineral people have moved to Tucson. I avoid the place all the time, but especially now due to health concerns.
