Recreation.gov Cancellation Refund problem

Hi - I wondered if others have had recent problems receiving their refund for a cancellation with Recreation.gov? I've used the site for years for reservations and have never had a problem getting a refund until now. In December I cancelled a February reservation for Fort Pickens in Florida and have still not received my $210 refund. I've contacted them 4 times with so far no results. Is anyone else having problems with refunds from them?
  • Yeah we canceled online, a week ahead, and then were called by the park asking where were we? Received a very small refund. Park said you had to call them to cancel (COE park)

    I would agree and keep all documentation of communications with them.
  • They cancelled several reservations last year due to COVID. I got a prompt refund for all. Sorry. What exactly are they telling you?

    Every time they tell me all they can do is pass it on to the "refund team", and "it can take a while". Today I finally got to another level, and she told me they are way behind for cancellations from December, and she said she would "mark my case urgent". We'll see what happens, but its been over a month.
