Sequoia RV Ranch in Kaweah (Three Rivers) is outside the national park. It is our favorite place to stay when visiting Sequoia Natl Park. It's a rustic RV Park next to the Kaweah River. An easy drive to the park for sight seeing. We like space 55 it has 50 amp pedestal. Here's the website:

This is also our choice for seeing the Sequoia trees. The owners are proud of what they do and are good people. They work well with their customers. For the Redwoods we recommend The Redwood RV Resort in Crescent City CA. It sets in the redwoods and is close to the National Park. What we liked about the park is that they had sites where you could pull in between the redwoods and not see your neighbors because of the natural ferns that are huge. Everything is natural and the setting is beautiful. Enjoy your trip.
